Patience Pays
WHY NITRO TAKES 3-6 MONTHS TO CURE
Coats must be thin
Otherwise solvent traps and the finish stays soft.
Between coats
Minimum 24 hours, ideally 2 to 3 days.
Final cure
60 to 90 days before it hits full hardness.
Why we take the extra time
Rushing nitro produces a soft finish that dents, prints, and never plays right.

Which Should You Choose?
Choose Nitro if: you want vintage feel, plan to keep the guitar long-term, want the finish to age with playing wear, and appreciate the boutique standard.
Choose Poly if: you gig hard and want maximum durability, don't want to wait 6+ months, or you're refinishing a utility instrument.
