The shop is at 14 Del Mar Dr, Suite 1E in Brookfield, CT. From NYC that is about 90 minutes: I-684 to I-84, or Metro-North's Harlem Line to Southeast and a short cab ride. Every repair happens here, on one bench, under one luthier's standards. We do not farm work out and we do not do house calls.
For most jobs at this distance, the insured ship-in lane beats the drive: photos first, a firm quote before any work, and insured freight both directions. The drive is for the players who want to see the woodshop, and plenty do.
